Another landmark has been reached ahead of what could be an historic season for Perth Scorchers’ KFC Big Bash League and Weber Women’s Big Bash League teams.
Tickets on Sale for WBBL|09 and KFC BBL|13
WBBL and MBBL tickets can be purchased here from 10AM, WST.
Tickets for both competitions go on sale this morning at 10AM, Western Australian time, with the WBBL|09 season less than two months away.
Early MBBL ticket purchasers will be rewarded under a new three-tier ticketing structure, which offers discounted rates for those who snap up their seats before Tuesday 24 October.
The second tier ensures tickets purchased from 24 October are frozen at last season’s prices, while the final tier presents adjusted prices for tickets bought at Optus Stadium for Perth Scorchers home games.
WBBL tickets, meanwhile, have not been adjusted, with general admission entry frozen at $10 and concession at $5. Juniors aged 15 and under can enter the WACA Ground for free.
Catch all the WBBL and MBBL action with a Perth Scorchers membership, available for purchase here.
Perth, playing its first WBBL campaign under Head Coach Becky Grundy, will reunite with the Orange Army at the WACA Ground against Hobart Hurricanes on 25 October.
Critical WACA Ground home games versus Sydney Sixers (31 October), Melbourne Renegades (3 November), Adelaide Strikers (5 November) and Melbourne Stars (22 November) will follow, as the Club sets its sights on adding a second WBBL title to the trophy cabinet.
The Scorchers’ MBBL team is aiming to become the first Big Bash League side – male or female – to win three successive titles.
Close to 54,000 supporters filled Optus Stadium when Perth surged to victory during a thrilling BBL|12 Final versus Brisbane Heat in February, a year after toppling the Sixers at Marvel Stadium to win BBL|11.
Adam Voges’ team returns to Optus Stadium on 20 December against Hobart, ahead of home games versus the Renegades (26 December), Strikers (3 January), Heat (13 January) and Sixers (16 January).
