Woolworths and Cricket Australia are celebrating the joy of cricket, promoting active lifestyles and nurturing the future of Australian cricket during Weber WBBL|09 with the Woolworths Cricket Blast Round.
WBBL to celebrate young cricketers with Woolworths Cricket Blast Round
This exciting initiative is set to take place during the third week of the Big Bash competition, running from Monday, October 30 to Sunday, November 5 and is dedicated to inspiring young cricket enthusiasts and promoting healthy habits.
The week-long celebration is a unique opportunity for children across the country to embrace the world of cricket and have the chance to enjoy exclusive experiences at each WBBL match.
The Woolworths Cricket Blast Round will come to life both digitally and through immersive at-match fan experiences, making it an unforgettable event for the whole family. Children can attend the matches for free and to encourage healthy eating habits, Woolworths will be providing fresh fruit to fans, ensuring everyone stays energised and refreshed during the games.
Woolworths Cricket Blasters, the young stars of the future, will also have the opportunity to participate in various activities at selected matches, including delivering the official match ball and securing the 'best seats in the house' on the side of the field.
The grand culmination of this week-long celebration will take place at the iconic WACA Ground in partnership with the Perth Scorchers, featuring a spectacular Woolworths Cricket Blaster Zone filled with engaging activities for young cricket fans, and a fireworks and light show during the innings break of the Scorchers game on Friday, November 3.
