Perth Scorchers are proud to announce a new partnership with Australian civil construction company BMD for the next two Weber Women's Big Bash League and KFC Men's Big Bash League seasons.
Perth Scorchers Welcome BMD Onboard
The partnership was launched at the WACA Ground today, with Scorchers stars Josh Inglis and Chloe Ainsworth showcasing the playing kits now adorned with BMD’s logo.
Perth Scorchers Interim General Manager Jess Keily highlighted both organisations’ commitment to excellence, as well as their shared passion for the Western Australian community.
“Our values align closely with BMD, highlighting a commitment to fostering strong family values and being a leading organisation in the community,” Keily said.
“Together, we look forward to creating unforgettable moments this summer.
“We want to thank BMD for their support and we are looking forward to having them on board for WBBL|10 and BBL|14.”
BMD General Manager of WA Leon Fogliani shared that BMD is equally excited to join forces with the Scorchers, and WA Cricket across both BBL and WBBL, to turn up the heat for a fiery year ahead.
“As Australia’s leading integrated engineering, construction and urban development business, BMD’s foundations are built on family values, collaborative relationships and enduring legacies in the communities in which we operate, right across the country,” Fogliani said.
“The Scorchers are a formidable force in the Australian sporting landscape, and we are eager to align with a brand that shares our family values, community reach and high-performance mantra. It’s a partnership powered by our love for sporting culture and great Australian summers, which bring families and communities together, on and off the field.
“As BMD celebrates a decade of operations in Western Australia early in 2025, we’re extremely proud to align this milestone with our partnership with Perth Scorchers and WA Cricket - our first major partnership in the west. It brings tremendous opportunity, not only for activating our brand with cricket fans, but investing in community and grassroots sport as the naming rights sponsor of the BMD Junior Cricket League.
“This is just the beginning of what we know will be an incredible partnership of growth, experiences and opportunities for BMD, the men’s and women’s Scorchers teams, and WA Cricket.”
BMD are currently involved in numerous high-profile projects across the country, including the Metronet Project here in Perth.
