International Stars Return For Renegades Contest

Perth Scorchers have named a 13-player squad for their Weber WBBL|10 contest with Melbourne Renegades at CitiPower Centre tomorrow afternoon.

Skipper Sophie Devine and Indian international Hemalatha Dayalan have both been named in the travelling squad, after missing the Scorchers opening match against Melbourne Stars last weekend.

Perth Scorchers WBBL|10 Squad for Game Two: Sophie Devine (Captain), Chloe Ainsworth, Stella Campbell, Maddy Darke, Hemalatha Dayalan (India), Amy Edgar, Mikayla Hinkley, Ebony Hoskin, Amy Jones (England), Alana King, Lilly Mills, Beth Mooney, Chloe Piparo

Dayalan will make her Scorchers debut if selected in the Final XI, after being selected by the Club with pick 17 (Silver) in the International Player Draft in September.

Allrounder Carly Leeson is unavailable for the clash against her former side, after injuring her thumb against the Stars. Her fitness will be monitored ahead of Tuesday’s home match against Brisbane Heat.

The return of Devine and Dayalan means associate rookie Ni Made Putri Suwandewi comes out of the playing squad, after being named in the 13 in the season-opening victory against the Stars.
