Scorchers set for interstate stint

Allrounder Carly Leeson has been passed fit and is in the mix to return to the lineup, with the 25-year-old missing the last three matches due to a thumb injury suffered in the season-opener against Melbourne Stars on 27 October. She replaces fast bowler Stella Campbell. 

The Scorchers currently sit second on the WBBL|10 ladder with three wins from their four matches, following a thrilling two-run victory over Melbourne Renegades at the WACA Ground on Thursday night.

The squad flew out to Sydney this morning ahead of an extended interstate block, which includes matches against Hobart (10 November), Sydney Thunder (12 and 15 November), Adelaide Strikers (19 November) and Sydney Sixers (21 November) over the next fortnight.
