WA Cricket’s School Ambassador of the Term has been announced for Term Four, with Che Hilson from Parkwood Primary School taking home the award.
Perth Scorchers School Ambassador of the Term
Che did a fantastic job of promoting and supporting the initial Breakfast Blast, which saw 50 kids attend the four sessions of the program.
Utilising Multi-Cultural ‘Legacy Funding’ this was the first time the WA Cricket team within the Metro South Regional has run a Breakfast Blast Program, a before school Cricket Blast Program.
The children got to enjoy 45 minutes of cricket activities before enjoying a WA Cricket supplied healthy breakfast snack.
Che was supportive of running this at Parkwood Primary School, with his efforts in promoting the program contributing to participant numbers exceeding expectations.
The success of the Breakfast Blast Program has led to planning to run more throughout the Metro South region in 2025.
Che is also responsible for organising the South Cannington Independent Sports Association (SCISA), with the Parkwood Primary School boys team winning through to the South Regional Finals where they made the final.
Congratulations Che!
