Edgar had a breakout season for Perth, after signing a two-year contract extension ahead of WBBL|08.
A spin bowling allrounder who has the ability to score runs quickly, Edgar showed her value to the Scorchers, by providing valuable middle-order runs for her team.
After making her debut in WBBL|07, Edgar went on to become a regular in WBBL|08, featuring in all 14 matches. She finished the season with 130 runs, including a match-winning contribution of 36 not out in a thrilling victory over the Heat. Her off spin has also developed nicely, with her 3-27 against the Stars showing that she is a genuine allrounder.
Edgar will be looking to continue her impressive development in WBBL|09.
