Britcliffe, 22, joins the Scorchers as an Injury Replacement Player for WBBL|09, with the crafty seamer to add depth to the Scorchers pace-bowling stocks.
She has performed strongly for Western Australia in four Women's National Cricket League contests this season, taking five wickets at 25.80 while conceding just 4.44 runs an over.
Among those scalps is former Australian captain and superstar top-order batter Meg Lanning, who Britcliffe accounted for in consecutive games to start the WNCL campaign.
A maiden WBBL deal is just rewards for the crafty seamer, and she will be hoping her wicket-taking ability earns her a Scorchers debut in WBBL|09.
