Player Story

Lance Morris is labelled by many to be the ‘Wild Thing’ after bowling incredibly well against England during their tour match in 2017-2018 at the WACA Ground, this performance really put his name up in lights.

Morris’ blistering pace with the ball was on full display at the back end of Western Australia's 2020-21 domestic season.

The quick regularly pushes the limits of the speed gun and rushes even the most experienced cricketers.

In a Sheffield Shield match at the WACA Ground in March, Morris ripped through Victoria’s middle order of Travis Dean, Peter Handscomb and Nic Maddinson in quick succession, decimating the visitor’s hopes of holding on for a draw.

It led to his One Day Domestic debut two days later, with the promising pacer going on to be crowned the WA Men’s Rising Star at the Laurie Sawle Medal evening in April.
