Devine, who joined Perth in WBBL|06, rubber-stamped her piece in Perth Scorchers history when she captained the club to it’s first Weber Women’s Big Bash League title in WBBL|07.
Devine, a star New Zealand International, has been the most destructive player the WBBL has ever seen, striking more sixes than any other batter in the competition's history.
The powerful allrounder is a match winner atop the order and combined with her right arm seamers and outstanding leadership, she is one of the finest cricketers in the Women’s game.
Devine also etched herself as one of the longest standing international players in the WBBL, becoming only the second non-Australian to play 100 matches in the competition.
After a season well below her usual lofty standards, Devine will be eager to return to her best in WBBL|09.
