All-rounder
Agar has evolved into one of Australia's premier limited overs bowlers.
An economical left-arm orthodox spinner with excellent composure, impressive control and numerous variations, Agar is a regular in Australian T20 squads.
The tall left-hander also strikes the ball powerfully while batting in the lower-middle-order, and stands among the country's most dynamic fielders.
In the first T20I match against South Africa in 2019, he became only the second Australian bowler to take a hat-trick in a T20I match and finished with figures of 5-24.
Agar bettered that effort in March, 2021, when he collected 6-30 against New Zealand in Wellington. This remains the only time an Australian bowler has taken six wickets in a T20I match.
A Victorian native who joined WA ahead of the 2012-13 domestic season, Agar started to 2022-23 KFC Big Bash League season ranked as Perth's fourth-highest wicket-taker of all time and 10th-highest run-scorer of all time.
Agar claimed the Simon Katich Medal as Perth Scorchers' best-and-fairest player of BBL|11, contributing significantly during the Club's title-winning campaign.
