Batter
The diminutive right-hander has been a constant fixture in the Scorchers line-up since she made her debut in WBBL|01.
The 30-year-old, who hails from Broome and has captained WA in the Women’s National League for the past five seasons, became the first Scorcher to play 100 WBBL matches, and overtook former teammate Heather Graham to become the club’s games record holder.
She is a crafty top-order batter, a wonderful leader and a terrific fielder and is coming off a career-best season in the WNCL, where she scored 513 runs at 51.3 with five half-centuries and claimed her second Zoë Goss Medal.
She produced her best innings (41*) of WBBL|08 against Sydney Sixers, combining well with Beth Mooney as Perth beat Sydney Sixers by nine wickets.
Piparo will be helping to carry that form into WBBL|09, where she is expected to feature heavily.
